Simple and Yummy!

Roasted chickpeas with herbs

Pour a can of garbanzo beans (otherwise known as chickpeas) into a skillet with a few tablespoons of oil, minced garlic (1 clove), 1/2 tsp minced ginger, fresh spices to taste (I like thyme and parsley) and cook until garbanzo beans are lightly golden on the outside. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve as a side dish, or place on top of salad. YUMMY! Oh, and my kids love it.

Natural cleaning tip:

Instead of laundry detergent, try using 1 cup of white vinegar in your sheet and towel loads. Dry
them with 3 balls of aluminum foil instead of dryer sheets. You will notice lighter, fluffier towels and sheets that smell clean!

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.
